South Norfolk

Railway Meadows

Roll down the track in your car, under the railway bridge, open the gate and enter your own little world... Your bell tent awaits near the lodge, all ready for you to get cosy. Look out for roe deer and muntjac, buttercups and butterflies, pheasants and wheeling buzzards, and for those with a keen ornithological interest listen out for lesser whitethroats and many other of our rarer species. With the wind in the willows and the occasional train bustling past beyond the trees, you are in a haven for wildlife.
