Grate Crates firewood supplies

We believe we may be unique in delivering firewood logs for domestic wood burners in easy-to-manage crates to households in Norfolk and Suffolk.

Crates can be carried by one person, stacked, then folded flat when emptied - simple, easy and space saving

Delivery by car, not lorry, to hard-to-access rural properties or congested roads

Crates can be taken through narrow gates and doorways

Logs cut to 7" to 8" specifically for domestic log burners

Mix of hard and soft woods from our own sustainably grown and managed woodlands - no imports, less road miles

Naturally seasoned the old-fashioned and time-honoured way - no commercial electric powered kilns harming the environment

Please note, we are currently at maximum customer capacity, but do drop us an email if you'd like to register an interest  in us supplying your future firewood, we'd love to hear from you

Fairly wild camping

Escape from the madding crowds with a do-it-yourself stay on our private land!

Our most popular location is amongst our cricket bat willows on our  13 acres of land near Eye, Suffolk. Campers love the feel of seclusion, yet are only five minutes walk from the market town with public house, local supermarkets, restaurants and takeaways, not to mention a castle and historic church!

The site is locked, secure, suitable for small campervans or cars and tents during Summer months and a haven for wildlife

There is direct access to the Mid-Suffolk footpath and lots of great circular walks to explore the pretty Suffolk countryside in the surrounding area

Well-behaved dogs on leads at all times are welcome to stay with you

We provide the space for you and there's an eco-compost loo on site - the rest of the adventure is entirely up to you!

Alternatively, wild camp at our land near Wymondham, and the historic abbey. Suitable for cars and small campervans as access is under a railway arch into a 17 acre wildlife haven.  Site is secluded and secure, with eco-compost loo available for guests, plus a wooden lodge
